We are looking for an Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our District.

We are looking for certified and highly qualified and experienced candidates with the following attributes: 

• Valid NYS Teacher Certification
• Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
• Students with Disabilities (B-2), (1-6), (7-12), or All Grades
• Enthusiastic and Passionate about Working with all Students
• Ability to work Collaboratively with Co-Professionals
• Ability to Communicate Effectively with students and parents
• Competent in Completing Assessments and Reporting as Appropriate
• Able to Write, Interpret and Administer IEP's
• Plan for, Provide, and Document Instruction for SWDs
• Understand NYS mandates for Individual Education Plans
• Provide Instruction for SWDs Consistent with NYS Standards and NYS Regulations
