We are looking for a Probationary Library Media Specialist (.8 FTE) to join our District.

We are looking for creative, certified and highly qualified candidates to guide school-aged children with the following qualities:

• • Valid New York State Teacher Certification in the following area:
  • Library Media Specialist
  • Foster a love of reading in grades PK-12
  • Support responsible digit citizenship
  • Maintain all library technology
  • Curate age-appropriate book collections for all ages
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about working with all students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-Professionals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
  • Supply a safe and nurturing environment where all students feel supported
  • Ability to genrefy and inventory collections
